Service

Gajawari KW constructs access roads, haul routes, and sealed pavements supporting mining, civil, and industrial operations throughout Western Australia.

Roadworks are engineered to meet load requirements, drainage performance, and site conditions, with comprehensive management of formation, compaction, and surface durability.

Scope & Execution

We deliver sealed roads to spec, managing all phases from subgrade prep through to final surfacing. Material selection, layer sequencing, and compaction are controlled with field testing and conformance checks at each stage. Final seals are laid using calibrated equipment for uniform coverage, friction, and finish. Roads are built to withstand consistent loading and environmental exposure without premature surface degradation.

Our team constructs unsealed roads engineered for durability under continuous traffic, load cycling, and weather impact. Formation levels, crossfall, and drainage integration are planned in advance to reduce rutting and ponding. Material is placed and compacted using moisture-controlled methods to maximise load-bearing capacity and surface stability. These roads are optimised for low maintenance cycles and extended operational life.

We install sub-base and base layers with strict control over grading, moisture content, and compaction density. Source materials are tested for compliance with project specifications, and each layer is trimmed and proof rolled prior to the next. Layer thickness and tolerances are verified with survey checks to ensure a structurally sound pavement system capable of supporting final sealing or unsealed operation

We integrate surface water management into road geometry from the outset, using a combination of culverts, table drains, and channeling to prevent erosion and pavement failure. Drainage structures are sized and placed to handle peak flow events and direct water away from the road substructure. Installation is sequenced with road works to avoid rework and ensure system functionality from day one.

We reprofile existing road alignments to restore geometry, camber, and structural performance. This includes reshaping surfaces, rebuilding failed layers, and applying new seals or gravel courses where needed. Our approach reduces long-term maintenance while restoring safe and reliable access for vehicles and machinery across operational sites.
